Southern Gujarat Hotel and Restaurant Association since 2001, having 700 members and 500 non-members in South Gujarat.

Since decades the Southern Gujarat Hotel and Restaurant Association (SHARA) came in to existence. The Association has served the interest of the hotel and restaurant industry. The association over the last several years has taken effective steps to encourage, promote, and protect the interest of members establishment. It has been rendering professional assistance from time to time to all its members on topics of vital importance. The Association admits and assists members operative in South Gujarat, right from Miyagam-Karjan to Bhilad, Surat to Saputara and up to Navapur. The Association renders assistance during promotion and operation of any hotel and / or members. Information on various aspects, such as applicability of Laws, Tax matters, Labour, Liaison with Tourist department / Govt. / or any local authority.
Mr. Arun Shetty is Present President of SHARA and Mr. Sanat Relia is Sr. Vice President. They both are very experienced in Hotel and Restaurant industry. Southern Gujarat Hotel and Restaurant Association is affiliated with Gujarat Chamber of commerce and industry, Southern Chamber of commerce and industry, Gujarat Hotel Federation, HRAWI (Hotel and Restaurant Association Western India) and FHRAI also.
